There is always something going on in Durham. Live music, annual poetry, film, art and cultural festivals draw talent and visitors from far and near. Rec-league and minor sports including baseball, soccer, hockey, and curling will keep you active.

Herb Fair, June 10 2023, 9am to 3pm
Over 40 vendors selling plants, garden decor, handmade home decor, and lots more. Food and music on-site. Riverside Park, Durham.

Canada Day Celebrations, July 1 2023, 4pm to 10pm
Activities for all ages, from 4pm until nightfall, Durham ball diamonds/fairgrounds. Hosted by Durham Lions club. Food, live music, kids activities, and spectacular fireworks. Donations accepted.

Durham ArtsFest 2023, Saturday July 8, 10am to 9pm
Watch artists bring our town to life on canvas, or peruse affordable art on Mill Street, then try some art activities, and enjoy a puppet show! Hear live music, check out our amazing proximity to river parks, purchase downtown food, and stroll over to Durham Art Gallery for an evening reception (local brews available for purchase). Sponsored by the downtown BIA, this is a free event! Detailed schedule to follow soon.

Durham Fall Fair, September 1–3, 2023

Discover things to see and do…
- Go swimming and/or camping at the Durham Conservation Area.
- Visit one of our art galleries: Jest Arts or Durham Art Gallery
- Check out the amazing view of the Saugeen River from the Heritage Railway Bridge.
- Try your hand at fly fishing on the river or trout fishing at Wilmer Trout Ponds. Fishing in Ontario

- Explore scenic McGowan Falls and historic dams on the Saugeen River.
